November totals and the 2011 Challenge

Remember when I said I loved Lindsay's idea about keeping a monthly total for stitching?  I've never done that before and since I really want to increase my stitching time, I thought this might be a good idea.  I also said we might all have a good laugh at the end of month.  I'm glad I kept track so that I can continue to focus and make changes.  My records show that I was able to stitch 14 days in November for a total of 15 hours and 30 minutes.  Let's see how I do next month.

I went home last night to see if I could find any additional WIPs to add to my list for the 2011 Flip'n Crazy January Challenge.  I really didn't find any others.  I have a couple of super big projects that are WIPs but I already have 2 pretty big projects on the list that I really want to get finished.  So I decided against adding them to the list.  I do want to try to get all 15 done.  That will be a big challenge for me. But if you read Jayne's original post about the challenge you will see that she gave me permission to start some new projects now in order to have 15 WIP in January.  ROTFL.  I just might have to take her up on that!  Don't you just love Jayne?

  1. Good luck with your challenge....I'm thinking something along the lines of a WIP challenge myself, although I love to start new projects, for next year as well! Thank you for stoppin' by my blog and leaving a comment!!!

  2. Ok Ok , it's ok if you don't have 15 WIPs, that's fine and you can post pic's as you finish or when ever the dickens you like. I am pretty sure that with having only 8 you will start at least 4 others throughout 2011. There are no strict rules to our Challenge and that's probably a good thing simply because, well, after all, we do have WIPs to begin with and usually it's because something else catches our eye. Have fun with it and I will say I would need to get your email so I can send you an invite to post... you can send it to me via my email as shown on my profile. Thanks for popping in and I will be back.
    Be always in stitches.

  3. Good luck on the challenge! I'm going for the 'start 15 things' challenge. I read your thoughts on that... I suppose I'm lucky that DH looks at me and smiles when I talk and in his head, he's thinking, "Oh yeah, I need to work on my golf swing...". LOL I can't wait to see what you're working on, new starts or old!

  4. Thanks for pointing me towards the WIP challenge. I think I'll definitely be focusing more on finishing some WIPs in 2011 rather than starting new things. Can't wait to see what you decide to work on!

  5. HA! I found you! I'm still piddlin' around with that challenge, but I sure like the idea of stitching with impunity in 2011!

    Woo Hoo!
